Weekly Wanderlust: Bond Edition

As Spectre takes the box office by storm, and takes the audience on an impressive tour of Morocco to Mexico City, this week's wanderlust will inspire your next chic getaway fit for Bond. James Bond.

Three Last-Minute Spring Break Deals

A taste of warm weather and talk of spring break might have you itching to get away this month. If you don't already have plans, there are some great last-minute flights out there. Of course, they'll vary based on where you depart from, but below are three hot tickets I've noticed leaving from the Chicago area.

Houston: Flights as low as $200

Houston always seems to be a pretty reasonable flight. The 10-day forecast ranges from the low-seventies to eighties, so it's a safe bet you'll get to break out your shorts or light sweater here. While everyone else is over at SXSW, take advantage of Houston's spicy restaurant scene, along with tons of parks and outdoor spaces, the museum district and even channel your inner Sandra Bullock over lunch with an astronaut at the Houston Space Center

San Juan: Flights as low as $450

Puerto Rico is really high up on my travel bucket list. There are so many hot restaurants and upscale resorts popping up, set in a sleepily stylish tropical backdrop. I think this locale has that perfect balance of an amenity-laden escape colored with an element of adventure. Just to the east is Vieques, an island I've heard raving reviews about for its natural, untouched beauty. Overall, it sounds like a grown-up spring break getaway that will jump-start your rest and rejuvenation.

Las Vegas: Flights as low as $275

Vegas for an entire week doesn't really sound like my cup of tea. But with last-minute flights available for a steal, it's a great home base as you check out the rest of the region. Rent a car and explore nearby Hoover Dam, or drive just four hours to the Grand Canyon. For five-star relaxation set in the middle of the Vegas Strip, stay at the smoke-free Aria or its luxury Vdara Hotel & Spa. And of course, top off the trip with tickets to Britney: Piece of Me at Planet Hollywood.

The Best of AirBNB: Antwerp Edition

Last summer, we spent two nights in a sprawling one-bedroom Airbnb flat in Antwerp. Our host, who was effortlessly fashionable in thick-rimmed spectacles and bold lipstick to match, also owned Barnini, an adorable coffee shop just below the unit.

Our Airbnb unit was just above the aqua storefront in this photo. The street was lined with a bevy of bars and restaurants with patio seating, and across the street was a gathering space for the city's large weekend market.

Barnini's laid-back, trendy vibe perfectly mirrored the personality of our fantastic host.

It was the perfect home base to explore Antwerp's fashion-forward scene, on a cafe-lined street and just a short walk to the eclectic shops in the Zuid and the cozy beer cafes sprinkled throughout the city center.

The unit itself had one bedroom, along with a full-sized convertible sofa in the living room. Everything about the place screamed hip, from the modern Euro-style furniture to the eclectic art dotted throughout.

I loved the juxtaposition of classic decor with brightly colored modern snapshots.

We recreated it ourselves! (Pretty accurate, I must say.)

We had the entire place to ourselves and made great use of the dining room table and rear patio -- where we gathered nightly to enjoy our favorite Belgium beers before dinner. The oversized windows in the living room let in so much light, and we woke up every day to the buzzing sound of shopkeepers getting ready to open.

We loved the Houblon Chouffe, along with the 2014 Duvel Tripel . Sadly, not pictured here is the best beer I enjoyed on the trip (and that's impossible to get back in the US): Papegaei .

Our host was more than accommodating, giving us fantastic restaurant suggestions along with an insider's perspective on the best local happenings. She stocked the unit with city art guides and weekly event magazines. I would highly recommend staying at her urban pad for a stylish romp through Belgium's fashion center.
